Shopping
Are you a shopaholic? Then you'll really want to know where the best stores and the biggest shopping streets are. This is our selection of shops you shouldn't miss!
Alles Seife
If you think soap's an outdated skin care product that only your grandfather uses, take a look in Alles Seife. When you walk in the door, the most delicious scent of spices and flowers rises up to greet you. The natural soaps are made in a way that pays special attention to different skin types and skin problems. The broad range of products also includes bath salts and perfumes. Ignore the standard shower gels and shampoos, and try the aniseed-honey or cocoa butter and lemon grass soap. Great to treat yourself; a fabulous gift for someone else.

Olivarium
The olive tree may be around 20 million years old, but it's anything but dry and dusty! Olivarium reveals that the olive has much more to offer than just virgin olive oil and tapenade. This chic shop offers a big selection of soap, shampoo and various cosmetics, all of which are olive based. You can also buy your own olive press and olive wood serving spoons, and access cooking advice. The surprising uses reveal a new side of this Mediterranean fruit, although, if we're honest, the huge array of extra virgin oil and tapenade is still our favourite. Try them all!

Lobmeyr glass retailer
An essential address for all lovers of glass, although other visitors will certainly enjoy this shop too. Specialized in lamps, mirrors, and table crystal, the family business boasts a long tradition of glass cutters and blowers. Everything is, of course, made by hand. Lobmeyr designs are of such high quality that one or two pieces are exhibited in leading art museums, including MOMA in New York. The shop also houses the Vienna Glass Museum, a small exhibition of pieces made by the company since 1823.
