Zoological Museum
The Zoological Museum is great museum for kids! The items on view here go back as far as the 17th century. Various extinct species, like the Dodo, are mounted and displayed in the museum. You'll find birds, insects and reptiles among the more than 4 million exhibits. Each of the 18 rooms offers something different and surprising to see. The museum can be found in Villa Borghese Park, where various changing exhibitions are also held. Don't jump out of your skin at the sight of the 15 metre high mounted elephant!

The Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps are located at Rome's Piazza di Spagna. This square is also commonly known as the Spanish Steps. The steps are part of the Trinita dei Monti church, which was commissioned by Louis XII. In the seventeenth century, the French wanted to link this church to the square. They stipulated that a statue of Louis XIV be erected on the site, and for this reason the plan was rejected. The monumental stairway is one of the best examples of early Rococo in Rome. In early spring, the stairs are festooned with flowers. The magnificent Fontana della Barcaccia stands in the middle of the square.
