One day every year, tourists vanish from the streets to be replaced by hordes of marathon runners. On 22 March it's time for the Rome marathon again. The marathon's course passes many of the city's sights. You can, of course, take part, but it's also fun to watch lazily from the sidelines! The entire city comes to life, with lots of concerts and fun stalls along the route. If you do want to take part, you can register via the website.
