A city has more to offer than just museums and buildings. Experience a city differently, join the residents during a typical city event!

Isola del Cinema is an open air film festival held annually on Tiberina Island. Every summer it screens previews and retrospectives of films and blockbusters to critical acclaim. The island is connected to solid land by the Ponte Rotto bridge which resembles a giant filmset for the duration of the festival. Music, dance, fashion shows, performances by artists and wine tastings make the festivities complete! With a bit of luck, you might even run into a famous actor! See the website for an up-to-date overview. [Read more]
