You can explore a city in many different ways. Public transport will allow you to get around very quickly, but you can also choose some different and original ways to travel!
Subway in Prague
Prague's subway network operates three lines with a combined total length of over four hundred kilometres. The stations are light and noticeably clean. The subways provide a regular service, departing every two minutes during peak hours and every five or ten minutes at other times of the day. A digital clock at the station also indicates exactly when the previous subway train left.

Trams in Prague
Prague's first electric tram came into service in 1894 and since then it's been the city's most popular mode of transport. For that reason Prague boasts no less than 23 tram lines and a total network exceeding five hundred kilometres in length. Trams run from 04.30 a.m. until 24.00 p.m. At night 8 night trams serve the busiest routes. At peak hours trams depart every six to eight minutes, otherwise they depart every fifteen minutes. Buses in Prague
Buses have transported people to places not served by other forms of public transport since 1925. Bus services start at 05.00 a.m. and continue until 24.00 p.m. Ten night buses provide a limited service after midnight. Buses are not a major means of transport in Prague and for that reason they depart every fifteen minutes and sometimes even only every half hour. Night buses depart every forty minutes.
