Paris is home to at least seventy different markets. The best known of them all is found on Rue Mouffetard (also known as La Mouffe). Influences from the Middle Ages are still visible in the bustling vibrant streets. The market has become a major attraction not just for tourists, but Parisians as well. The market offers all sorts of things, but primarily sells meat, fish and vegetables. Although these aren't necessarily things that you'll need to buy on your trip, it's still worth getting a taste of La Mouffe.
