Musee Grevin (Grevin Museum)

{poi_name This waxworks museum opened its doors in 1882. Many celebrities visited Paris at that time and because they were isolated from the ordinary people, journalist Arthur Meyer decided to establish a waxworks. The museum is named after the maker of the statues, Alfred Grevin, and houses around 150 waxworks. French heroes like Celine Dion and Charles de Gaulle feature prominently, but international celebrities like Albert Einstein and Michael Jackson are also included in the collection. Besides this, the museum also offers a spectacular light and sound show.
