London Marathon

The London Marathon has been held annually since 1981 and has evolved into a spectacular and festive sporting event. 30,000 entrants take part each year. The route runs from Greenwich Park to Buckingham Palace and covers over 47 kilometres. Supporters are also well catered for. There's live music and all the pubs along the route are open. M.F. & Puppet Festival

The Covent Garden May Fayre and Puppet Festival is an annual celebration of the art of puppetry, held near the place Mr Punch was first sighted.
