Italian wine culture comes to life during the weekend of 26 to 28 February. That's when Florence holds the Florence Wine Event and you have an opportunity to get to know all the fabulous wines that Italy produces in the most delightful and tasteful way. From Brunello to Barollo and Chianti to Bolgheri, you'll come across them all at one of the numerous little wine stalls on Piazza Pitti. The opening night features various jazz performances and there's a gourmet market on Saturday. Sunday is dedicated to biological wines.
