The International Wine Festival is the biggest gastronomic event of the year. The popular festival will be held for the 17th time in Buda Castle in early September. Wine and the culture of wine are the focus of attention. During the festival wine growers and Budapest's top restaurants present their best wines. Danube Carnival has been celebrated in Budapest since 1996. It's an international cultural festival and will be held for the thirteenth time this year.
