Brussels

Restaurants

You'll find a bunch of restaurants, cafes and “brasseries” in every city. Below is a selection of nice venues where you can enjoy local food and/or culinary delights.

Tasso

Tasso

Tasso is a beautiful simply furnished restaurant. The building in which the restaurant is located was formerly the Royal Warehouse. In the summer you can dine outside on the terrace. Chef Steven de Smedt uses only top quality ingredients and the prices reflect this. Tasso offers international cuisine and the menu includes, among other things, sushi, ravioli and lobster salad. The menu changes every two months, so there's another dish to try each season. A broad selection of wines from around the world guarantees your evening's success. [Read more]

The restaurant's name is a reference to the Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta, an ardent consumer of hallucinogenic mushrooms. [Read more]

Like many other good restaurants, Bonsoir Clara is found on Antoine Dansaertstraat. This trendy restaurant, with its colourful walls and simple zinc tables and chairs, is located in what was formerly a double-fronted shop, and sealed its popularity among Brusselites immediately after its opening. The kitchen promises delicious Mediterranean cuisine with an oriental touch. The atmosphere is convivial, the staff friendly and the wine list highly recommended! [Read more]
