The museum has over 650,000 pieces which form the foundation for a trip through time and space and along various artistic disciplines. It offers the visitor a exceptionally rich and varied overview of history. The Antiquity collection evokes the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece and Rome. Entrance to the museum is free every first Wednesday of the month from 13.00 p.m.
