Around Christmas, there is a magnificent Christmas fair in Brussels with more than 240 stalls. This is the ideal place for culinary delicacies. Each contestant must complete the course while balancing a tray with a bottle of Pineau des Charentes, a candle and three glasses. Heritage Days will be held in Brussels for the 22st time on 17 and 18 September. Over 61 monuments in the city centre that are normally closed or partly closed to the public throw open their doors. You'll be able to admire the inside of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, also known as the cigar. Apart from the usual programme, twenty of Brussels's buildings which proved popular attractions during previous Heritage Days will also be open.
