On the outside, Coulissen, with its neo-baroque facade, seems an unlikely place for a great night out. The building once housed the Bank of Bruges, but now has a much more pleasurable function. In a city bursting with bars and dance cafes this is one of the few places that's more like a discotheque. Once the cafes close, all the hip Bruges crowd comes here. The DJs whip the crowd up or cool them down with a mix of lounge, techno, house and R&B. Entrance is free of charge so there's no excuse for not dancing on well into the night!
