Mercat de la Boqueria
Officially this market is called Mercat de Sant Josep. It's Spain's biggest fresh produce market and is visited frequently by both locals and tourists. The colourful market began as a street market on the Rambla in the thirteenth century. The construction of the current iron roof was started at the end of the nineteenth century and completed in 1914. Vegetables, fruit, fish and meat are all beautifully displayed. The entrance is located on the Ramba.

Juan Antonio Lopez
