Amsterdam has a well organized public transport system. 16 tramlines, over 30 bus routes, 5 ferry connections and 4 metro lines form an extensive public transport
network with excellent connections, which runs at night as well. Trams are especially convenient if you want to travel around the centre and its immediate vicinty.
