Amsterdam

Restaurants

You'll find a bunch of restaurants, cafes and “brasseries” in every city. Below is a selection of nice venues where you can enjoy local food and/or culinary delights.

Le Hollandais

Le Hollandais

Le Hollandais is synonymous with delicious food in pleasant surroundings and a beautiful seasonal menu. There is no background music, so you can enjoy the tasty authentic French dishes without distraction. The homemade sausage of free-range meat is hard to beat, as are the pure biological dishes like poached salt cod with aioli. As with all the better restaurants, a reservation is a must. [Read more]

Fondue & Fondue

Fondue & Fondue

This cosy but tiny fondue restaurant is obviously the place to be for a delicious fondue. Toying around together with little frying pans, can give you moments of pleasure. Fondue with delicious tender meat, fish fondue with fresh tuna, salmon and jumbo shrimps, and a nice aromatic cheese fondue with vegetables and bread are on the menu. The restaurant has an open kitchen and the staff are very friendly. As dessert we naturally suggest you take the chocolate fondue with fresh fruit and marshmallows. The absolutely delicious home-made chocolate cake with baileys and nuts is a must. [Read more]

Beddington's

Jean, who is originally from England, learnt how to cook from her mother and grandmother at a young age. She developed and honed her culinary skills further during a stay in Japan. [Read more]
